So far the best BBQ pizza I've had on the island. The kiddo loved the pasta. It's order at the counter and they bring it to your table. I think the secret to the pizza is getting it hot and fresh and eating in. I'm not sure it could handle a delivery because it's perfect temp and grease level right out of the oven and the crust was the perfect level of doughy. Definitely coming back to try other specialty pizzas.
The pizza is great here and the price is always reasonable. But what's really great about it are the decorations in the restaurant. There are easily over 20 philodendron plants lovingly cared for by the owners and all kinds of Portsmouth Rhode Island memorabilia to look at. I support this local business.
Let me just say this: I can always finish a large pie in one sitting. I don't necessarily always enjoy doing it, but I feel obligated to. Taking down North End's pizza is one I not only take pride in, but enjoy too. Now it isn't going to knock your socks off or be the best pizza you've ever had. However, it is alright. In this day and age you can't ask for much more than "alright."
These guys make a mean pizza! Not too cheesy or half baked. Fast delivery. I have tried a few items off the menu and I have never been disappointed.
I guess it's time to update this review. North End has become our go to pizza spot over the past year or so. Constantly good, and never a bad experience! Tonight (on a Saturday) we were exhausted and got a Mexican pizza and a gold fever pizza delivered. The driver arrived ahead of schedule, the pizzas were hot, and probably the two best pizzas that I have ever ordered out! Keep it up North End!
Got pizza delivered to local brewery and the pizza was absolutely delicious!! Delivery service was superb. Highly recommend.
So glad we decided to stop in for lunch the other day and give them another try! My Ham & Cheese grinder was absolutely DELICIOUS! So neatly made, nice and warm and it tasted amazing! Probably one of the best grinders I've had in a while! They are close to me and I will absolutely be coming back! Pizza next!
